Yorkshire Bank mobile app

The Yorkshire Bank mobile app can help you do your banking when you want – even when you’re out and about.

What you can do with the mobile app:

  • Keep up to date with your accounts by viewing your balances and recent transactions
  • Move money between your linked Yorkshire Bank accounts.
  • Find a branch, Business & Private Banking Centre or ATM near you
  • Set up and manage text alerts
  • Register for Paym and you will be able to send and receive payments using just a mobile number, with anyone also registered for this service. You can send £500 per transaction and up to £1,000 per day. Only one current account can be registered to your mobile number for Paym. For more information on Paym please visit
  • Make payments to your existing internet banking payees. Transaction limits apply..
  • Make payments to anyone using their sort code and account number

Mobile banking is available to all personal and business customers who hold a current account.

This service may be temporarily unavailable during periods of routine maintenance.

Registration guide

You can register for Yorkshire bank mobile app by completing four easy and secure steps.

  1. Download the app from the app store, open it and accept the terms and conditions
  2. Enter and verify your mobile number
  3. Enter the activation code recieved by SMS and create your passcode
  4. Choose whether you wish to complete registration using your existing internet banking or telephone banking details. Or use your personal information if you are not registered for internet or telephone banking.

Done. You are now registered for the Yorkshire Bank mobile app.

How to download the mobile app

The mobile app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play or by searching for "Yorkshire Bank" on the relevant store and downloading the mobile app. You will then need to register for the app to use it.

Text message alerts

If you are registered for our mobile app, you can set up text alerts within the app. Alternatively, you can set up text alerts through the website. Text alerts are also available for business customers. We offer the following alerts for your current account:

  • Low or high balance alerts - alerts when your available balance goes above or below the limit you have set.
  • Weekly balance alerts - receive a weekly text with your balance Monday-Saturday and at a time you choose.
  • Balance on demand - request an up-to-date balance and your last four transactions.
