New Senior Partner at Yorkshire Bank's West Yorks Financial Solutions Centre

Darren Owers has been appointed senior partner at Yorkshire Bank’s West Yorkshire Financial Solutions Centre (FSC), Bradford – and comes back to the city where he started his banking career.

As senior partner, Darren Owers, will lead a multi-disciplined team of eight bankers covering West Yorkshire.

Darren Owers joined Yorkshire Bank in 1994 as a graduate trainee at the Bank’s branch in Broadway, Bradford. He then spent five years as a senior partner at the Bank’s Leeds Financial Solutions Centre (FSC) between 2004 and 2009 and more than a year as head of business development before joining West Yorkshire FSC.

Yorkshire Bank’s West Yorkshire FSC, Canal Road, which covers Bradford, Kirklees, Calderdale and up to Craven district, comprises multi-discipline teams encompassing corporate banking, private wealth management, treasury services and credit and operates a traditional method of banking with funding from deposits used to support investments in the local community.
