Clydesdale Bank helps letting agent celebrate its 21st anniversary

27th July 2012

One of Peterborough’s leading independent letting agents has been presented with a special memento to mark the company’s 21st anniversary.

Gary Martin, who owns Letters Home Rentals in Broadway was presented with a plaque by Clydesdale Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre (FSC) in Peterborough to mark the company’s milestone.

The surprise gift now sits proudly on Gary’s desk as the business continues to provide the service which has led to it becoming one of Peterborough’s largest independent letting agents.

Gary said: “It was a really thoughtful gesture and typifies the service that we have received since we moved to Clydesdale Bank about two years ago.

“Every business no matter how long they have been operating needs a supportive bank in its day-to-day activities as well as to maintain its growth, and we have received that support because steady but consistent growth sums up our ethos.

“I talk to Steve regularly which is great because he acts as a sounding board on all aspects of the business, and as a sole trader that is useful and extremely refreshing.

“I am confident we will still be banking with Clydesdale Bank in 21 years’ time!”

The latest recruit to Letters Home Rentals is lettings negotiator Sean Holditch.

Sean said: “I think the secret of our success is the transparency that we show to our customers, and the fact that we are totally independent so we can truly provide a personal service since we’re not just another office of a national company”

Steve Woods, business banking partner at Clydesdale Bank’s Peterborough FSC said the Bank remains committed to supporting viable trading businesses.

He said: “Twenty one years is a significant milestone to have achieved and we thought it was only right to mark such an achievement and to remind Gary of everything the business has achieved so far.

“Knowing Gary, he and his team won’t be resting on their laurels and they will continue to take pride in providing the best possible service to all their customers.”
