Eric joined Clydesdale Bank in 1979 and was appointed Chief Risk Officer, UK in January 2010.
He has held Divisional Management roles in both Retail and Business Banking and also has extensive experience in Corporate Banking. Prior to his appointment Eric held the position of National Director where he had responsibility for the iFS Corporate, Business and Private Banking activities.
Eric is a Fellow and former Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. In addition Eric has previously held Non-Executive Director positions with Scottish Homes and Scottish Financial Enterprise.
