Making words into reality
Our CSR reporting highlights the ways in which we are making the Group a sustainable business over the long-term and how we are putting our Corporate Principles into practice. It has been externally verified and has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative's (2002) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.

Monitoring our performance
By benchmarking and monitoring our performance against external standards and the wider business community we gain independent information to help assess our performance., This helps us identify where we are succeeding, and where we have room to improve.

In November 2006, we participated in the Business in the Community Corporate Reporting Index. The results provide us with a benchmark against which we can measure changes in our performance. National Australia Group UK was awarded a Bronze ranking in the Index and is one of the Top 100 Companies that Count. We also obtained a Silver ranking in the Community Index.

The Index measures performance of the participants across a number of areas including management practice, social impact, environmental impact and integration. The schedule below details how we as a business performed in the Index against these categories. We shall be participating in the Survey again in 2008.
