Yorkshire & Clydesdale Bank Foundation

Yorkshire Bank has an established tradition of providing funds for external organisations to help make life a safer, healthier and better for all of us.

The Foundation was established in July 2008 to provide support to registered charities, not-for-profit organisations, community and other voluntary organisations. In terms of financial support four key areas of focus have been selected at this time;

  • The advancement of environmental protection or improvement
  • The advancement of citizenship through initiatives that support and promote volunteering
  • The advancement of financial education including initiatives that promote accessibility to both financial education and financial services
  • The advancement of community development through initiatives that build and strengthen the communities in which we operate

Who does the Foundation support?

  • Wherever possible, applications from registered charities or not-for-profit organisations, community  and voluntary sector organisations will take priority over applications from individuals, political or religious organisations
  • Activities should take place inside our Beneficial Area (areas covered by branches of the Bank, Financial Solutions Centres, HQ locations)
  • Project expenses will be prioritised rather than direct salary expenses

If you wish to apply for funding, then print the Yorkshire & Clydesdale Bank Foundation funding application form (PDF, opens in a new window). Complete the application and post it to, Yorkshire & Clydesdale Bank Foundation, 20 Merrion Way, Leeds LS2 8NZ together with relevant supporting information.
