Changes to our current accounts - a summary of the changes

What are the changes?

On 3rd January 2008 we are making a number of changes to Yorkshire Bank current accounts including:

  • the way we describe overdraft borrowing and some of our fees in our Terms and Conditions and Tariffs
  • the transfer of "Current Account" customers to our "Current Account Plus" product
  • the way we charge for Unplanned Borrowing for "Premium" and "Principal" accounts
  • the debit interest rate for Planned Borrowing on our "Current Account Plus" and "Current Account Plus - Offset" accounts
  • updating the wording in our Terms and Conditions following recent changes to cheque clearing and the Financial Services Compensation scheme

Further details have been provided in the letters that you will have been sent if these changes affect your Yorkshire Bank accounts.
