With our Current Account Plus, special benefits include:
- Savings Account Plus , exclusive to Current Account Plus customers - you'll earn the rate of 4.61% Gross*/4.69% AER#. It's a phone and Internet only account which means easy access 24 hours a day, seven days a week†. (Please note that access to this account is by Internet and/or Telephone Banking only. You can't deposit or withdraw money from your Savings Account Plus in any branch.)‡
In additon you can have:
- Your money at your convenience , a debit card is available which combines Maestro†† and automated cash machine facilities. Cheque guarantee facilities are also available, but these are subject to status.

- Special Customer Offers, as well as all the banking benefits you receive, we bring you special customer offers so you can save money on holidays, leisure activities and shopping. We will send your new offers in your statements.
- Special Travel Discounts , with such busy lives we all need to get away now and then, whether it be for a short break or for our annual summer vacation. To help you save money on this important aspect of our lives, we've teamed up with Apollo Travel Direct, part of United Co-op to bring you Holiday Line. Holiday Line offers all our customers great discounts on a huge range of brochure holidays from travel's top names.
- Access to our mortgage range, we have a range of mortgages like our First Time Buyers Package, Yorkshire Bank Rapid Repay and our Flexible Payment Mortgage with all kinds of benefits that will appeal to both the first time buyer and the seasoned home mover. If you'd like to move to Current Account Plus, all we ask is that you're 16 or over and that regular income will be paid into the account. There's no minimum income requirement (to obtain credit facilities you must be 18 or over).
Call into your local branch where you will need to advise your full name, date of birth and residential address. You will also need to bring along some form of identification (ID). The ID needs to be something like a passport or photocard driving licence.
Other documents are also acceptable, so don't hesitate to get in touch and ask for further details.
Even if you are already a Yorkshire Bank customer we may have to ask you for identification for security purposes.

Important Information
Current Account Plus is only available to those aged 16 or over. Written quotations are available on request. All overdrafts and Multi-Function cards are subject to status and applicants must be aged 18 or over.
ºEAR (Effective Annual Rate) - The effective annual rate is used to express the cost of borrowing on current accounts. The EAR takes account of the rate of interest charged, the frequency it is levied to accounts and compounding of interest. It does not include overdraft fees and is variable.
†Yorkshire Bank's 24 Hour Telephone Banking and Internet Banking services may be temporarily unavailable during periods of routine maintenance. For your security, calls may be monitored or recorded.
‡All deposits to Savings Account Plus must be made directly into your Current Account Plus and then transferred to the Savings Account Plus by using the Internet/Telephone Banking service. You can also organise to have regular deposits made to your Savings Account Plus by arranging a standing order. For withdrawals, funds must be transferred from your Savings Account Plus, (again by using the Internet/Telephone Banking service), into your Current Account Plus. You can then use your card to access your money from thousands of cash machines including the LINK network, 24 hours a day, every day (please note that cash machines may be temporarily unavailable due to periods of routine maintenance). Your cash card will enable you to withdraw up to £350 per day (subject to available funds, while we do not charge for this service, other providers may do so).

††Purchases and ATM withdrawals using Maestro outside the UK will be subject to a handling charge. This charging structure does not apply to UK- domestic Maestro and ATMs in the UK.
*Gross Rate interest is the interest payable without taking account of the deduction of income tax. For most customers tax will be deducted at the lower rate prevailing at the time of payment (currently 20%).
